Very pretty Anemone Japonica. We have some apples on our trees, but not so many as before ~ plenty for pies though. :-)

  8. It's funny how quickly the season changes - Thursday here in Oxfrodshire in the UK was still summer but Friday and the weekend have been autumn! I love this time of year when nature itself invites so much happy activity in the hedgerows and then in the kitchen but I am wistful too for the summer that has gone. Enjoy your apple harvest! I was thinking only today about your post last year for turning horse chestnuts into laundry soap - must give this a go once they start falling! E x

  17. Love your pics. Laura Ingalls is one of my favorite books. I have them all and well named my blog with her in mind. Fall is trying to come to the Rocky Mountains but seems unsure if she really wants too. Has been raining now for 3 days. This is great for us drought ridden country but now it is starting to flood, not good. Have a great day..love your blog.

  19. Beautiful photos, looks like you have had a good week :)
Autumn has claimed the earth here too now, it's been grey and rainy here over the past days. Though it's great that the apple season is here, isn't it :)
Have a lovely new week, Regina.
    Hugs :)
