  1. Thank you Regina! I do love your Graham Thomas! Abraham Darby is a beauty too. Remind me of my Evelyn, same peachy color. This is a wonderful time of year. The New Dawns have started to bloom on the trellis and it has transformed the garden into a fairyland.

  2. Beautiful roses! Yellow was my mother's favorite!

Thank you for your comments on my blog.:-)

  3. Regina...
Your roses are so beautiful!! Thank you for sharing them with us!!

So you ever take a few and dry them?

    Have a wonderful week!!

    Your friend,

  4. Hello Regina, I love roses too and have several in our garden. My favourites are any that are scented and not too thorny!

  5. This is why I have planted roses. They are so lovely and I can't wait for mine to get bigger and better!

  6. Oh, that Abraham Darby takes my breath away! It's simply stunning, Regina :) Is it fragrant?

  7. You do have many roses in your garden, beautiful. And beautiful photo's. My roses, only some white one in my very little garden (weel, only a patio) are doing okay too, The smell is so nice. By the way, that Abraham Darby is fantastic!!

  8. I love your roses! My dad, before he passed away, had a rose garden of over 200 roses. They were his prize possession and people came from all over to drive through his garden. That was many years ago but I still think of it lovingly. Thank you for visiting my blog. I am signing up to follow you!

  9. What beautiful roses! I just have one rambling rose, but it's not out yet, I guess the weather just isn't warm enough here in Derbyshire.

  10. Hi Regina! Thanks for the flag day wishes here. Your roses are breathtaking. I, too, like the Abraham Darby the best! I can't get my roses to look nice past the first blooms! love, andrea

  11. I love the roses! I have never tried to grow roses, thinking it might be too difficult (i am more of a veggie gardener). But, these pictures are so lovely, I might have to give it a go!

  12. I agree, the Abraham Darby is my favorite too...I don't think I have ever seen that variety before! So pretty! You have a wonderful garden and I am glad to have a peek into it. My grandmother was an avid rose gardener and they always hold a special spot in my heart. I actually rooted some of her rose bushes so I have a piece of her in my own garden but I do not come close to the roses that you have!

  13. Lovely roses. Your Abraham Darby is gorgeous!

  14. Your roses are so beautiful Regina! I was pleased that I only lost 3 rose bushes to the frost this winter. Only my new climbing roses do not want to climb for some reason. Any ideas why or what I should do? I think you must want to sit and look at all the roses when you are in the garden.

    Hugs from Holland ~

  15. Thanks for your nice comments, Regina, so nice of you to stop by my blog :)

Love your roses, they are all gorgeous!! Your garden must be wonderful right now, and so lovely scented.
In my garden only one rose is blooming so far, but more roses have lots of buds soon ready to open. Can't wait :)

  16. Beautiful shot! The roses are gorgeous!
It's a great time for garden enthusiasts.
I like your beautiful crochet work.
Crocheting is one of my favorite hobbies.

  21. Fabulous roses you have there. Thanks for visiting my blog and for your kind comments. I will be popping in to visit you too now that I have seen your lovely blog.

  22. So beautiful !!!!! I love the big smelling English roses too ;)
I believe I have just bought a Veilchenblau, without knowing it. I had bought a rose at the supermarket and it was supposed to be a lilac, low growing rose. Seeing it grow now and watching the flowers, I must say it looks a lot like Veilchenblau. I will take a picture.

  23. What beautiful flowers!! Your Abraham Darby rose is my favorite too! I just found your blog and became a follower (: Can't wait to come back for more posts! Hope you have a lovely week!!
