  2. Hi Regina! Love the asters. They're blooming in my garden too. My daughter-in-law threads those small peppers through some string and hangs them in the window to dry. They make a decoration and you can add the dried ones to chili and spicy things. I roasted and canned some, but it was a lot of work and I'm not sure I'd do it again!

  4. A lovely harvest. I use my Chili for cooking but not all of them, seems to be to many fruits. Some of them I put into chutney's, that way I find use for garden fruits aswell.

  6. Beautiful pictures. You certainly have had a wonderful harvest this year. I agree with Jane.. those small red peppers would be great to string together and hang in your kitchen.
    Have a great week!

  8. Beautiful garden! I like to take all the small hot peppers and dry them by hanging. Then crush them and use them in chili and other cooking dishes. They store well once dry in a glass container for a year at least.

  9. I love sunny fall weather! Your blue aster is so pretty. Your peppers look so yummy! One year I had lots of banana peppers and jalapenos. I cut them in half, got the seeds out, and froze them. I used them on homemade pizza.

I hope you are having a great week.

  12. Hi Regina!
Love your pictures of flowers and produce. People before me have said that you can string the small peppers and when they are dry, you can use them for decoration and crush them to use in cooking.
Thanks for your kind comment on my blog. Wish you a wonderful Fall season.
    Love, Marie

  13. It looks absolutely wonderful, Regina!

I grow chillies too, and ususlly I dry lots of them for use later in stews and sauces. I have also chopped them very finely and put in a jar with garlick and oil.
This autumn I made chilli jam too, very delicious :)
